At Synergia, we are always looking for new ways to make the life of business owners better. Our search is of course influenced by our own effort to grow and make our own lives better
We recently picked up an old software project that we had evaluated in 2006 for use with our Ubuntu based installations. GnuCash has come a long since and is now a very competitive accounting system. From being only capable of handling personal finance, it has since expanded to include small business accounting with invoicing, general ledger, accounts payable and many more features.
After evaluating it against our own requirements (and finding a company here in Nairobi that is actually using it), we have decided to adopt it as our financial software platform. Check out its features and see if it will work for you too.
